President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the killing of an abducted teacher in Oyo State, describing the incident as painful and unacceptable.

The President expressed sympathy to the family of the deceased, colleagues, and the people of Oyo State, while assuring Nigerians that his administration remains committed to tackling insecurity across the country.

In a statement reacting to the incident, Tinubu directed security agencies to intensify efforts against kidnappers and criminal groups responsible for violent attacks and abductions.

He stressed that those behind the killing must be identified, arrested, and brought to justice, warning that acts of violence against innocent citizens would not be tolerated.

The President also called for stronger collaboration between federal and state security formations to improve intelligence gathering and rapid response to kidnapping cases.

The teacher was reportedly abducted by gunmen before news of the victim’s execution sparked outrage and renewed concerns over insecurity in parts of the country.

Residents and community leaders in Oyo State have continued to demand tougher action against criminal gangs operating within the region.

Tinubu reassured Nigerians that the government would continue strengthening security operations nationwide to protect lives and property.
